The Scene
This historic 1912 inn was once so renowned as a resort that it was featured on every map of the area. Restored to its former glory, it is now a friendly, unpretentious B&B. The air in this region is fresh, the water is clean and the vistas are spectacular. Added to these magnificent attributes is the hotel's emphasis on fresh, organic foods.
The Details
All of the rooms in this off-the-tourist-track inn have private baths. Four of the rooms in the main building feature views ranging from a private garden to panoramas of Rosario Strait. A separate private cottage boasts French doors and a deck plus a barbecue and kitchenette. There is also a freestanding guesthouse large enough to sleep six; it features its own kitchen, a barbecue on the deck, gas fireplace and stereo. The owners added a hot tub, upgraded some of the rooms and rebuilt the deck in 2003.
