It was the best priced place I could find in Bellingham, but somehow I think it would have been worth spending the extra $75 somewhere else. The sign out front said it was remodeled, but I don't see where. The bathroom sink was not draining well at all. It did have a tiny swimming pool...hottub..sauna. I didn't use any of those so I can't really comment on that part. It wasn't too noisy I suppose. Would I stay there again? Probably not. If you are very conscious about your money, this is probably the place for you. I called directly to reserve and was able to get a 2 queen bed room for $90 (including tax). That was a good deal compared to other priced hotels.

Spent a night here on the way to Mount Baker. It was...grimy. The bedding was stained, though the sheets seemed reasonably clean. The toilet seat was cracked, the shower water came out brown at first, the shower had one of those plastic mats stuck to the bottom. I wondered if they ever picked it up to clean under it, because the in-room coffee tray on the bathroom counter had spilled coffee peeking out from under it, and I also found an alien hair. Need to step up the room cleaning. The sign out front said "free wireless internet", but we initially couldn't connect and were told we might be out of range of the server and should venture closer to the common area. Eventually the service worked, but we kept getting kicked off. On the plus side, I guess you can do much worse for $40/night. We had reserved the room for two nights, but decided to check out in the morning. They had already charged our card but refunded the second night in cash.

Pros: heard the rooms were nicer on the second floor

Cons: icy parking lot, no breakfast
